Playing
How do I move the cupcakes?
Swipe on a touch screen. On a keyboard, use the arrow keys or WASD. Every cupcake slides in the chosen direction.
How do merging and scoring work?
Two cupcakes with the same value merge once per move and create the next cupcake level. The new value is added to your score, so two 8 cupcakes make 16 and add 16 points.
What is a good starting strategy?
Keep your highest cupcake in one corner. Build nearby values toward it and leave one row flexible for new cupcakes.
Your game
Can I undo a move?
Yes. Undo restores the board, score, and move count from before your last successful move. The game keeps one move to undo.
Where is my game saved?
Your board, best score, and options are saved in this browser. No account is required. Clearing this site's data removes them.
What happens after I reach 2048?
2048 completes the classic goal and creates Peppermint Snow. You can continue toward 8192 and the final cupcake, Rainbow Crown.
Inspired by the original open-source 2048 by Gabriele Cirulli. This version and its cupcake artwork were created independently.
