About 2048 Cupcakes

2048 Cupcakes is a focused browser version of the number-merging puzzle, built around responsive controls, clear progress, and 13 illustrated cupcake levels.

Why this version exists

Many 2048 Cupcakes sites offer nearly the same game. This version takes a narrower approach: keep the familiar rules, then spend the work on touch response, keyboard input, merge timing, readable cupcakes, useful feedback, and a calm interface.

Responsive play

Swipe, arrow-key, and WASD input should all feel predictable and immediate.

Clear progress

Scores, moves, goals, and the highest cupcake should be understandable at a glance.

Useful preferences

Tile numbers, merge sounds, undo, and theme controls stay because they support the core game.

Comfort on every screen

The board and controls are designed for phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop displays.

What stays out

There are no accounts, advertisements, tracking scripts, power-ups, or extra game modes. Those features would add weight without improving the next move.

Your game stays with you

Your current board, best score, and options are stored locally in this browser. The game remains playable without an account, and some supported browsers offer installation for offline play.

Help improve the next move

If a control feels unclear, a cupcake is difficult to read, or something behaves differently across devices, tell us what happened.

Origin and credits

The game is inspired by the original open-source 2048 by Gabriele Cirulli. This implementation and its cupcake artwork were created independently. Interface icons use the Tabler Icons MIT license.
